It is done by widening experiences of professional public management, public politics, and government. It is also assistance in process of overall political and economical change through effective public services. Increase of professionalism of public administration and municipalities is also very important part of it. It is done by creation of contacts between government representatives responsible for public services and by consultants from membership institutions. During its existence NISPAcee has been able to create functioning network of schools, institutions and individuals. Currently, NISPAcee is the source of expert opinions, experiences, knowledge and information. It is considered as important international organization not only in particular region but it is acknowledge by international organizations. NISPAcee has more than 125 education and training membership institutions from region and about 40 west associated institutions. Membership institutions are in Central and East Europe including new member states from EU, Balkan, Caucasus, and Middle Asia. The most important activities are organization of annual conferences, summer seminars, training programs, specialized conferences, publication of information newspapers and collections from summer seminars, annual conferences and other events, publication of textbooks, research papers and training manuals, publication of series of science articles from public administration and politics area, translation of textbooks and other relevant literature to languages of Central and East Europe, coordination of different research groups and projects. NISPAcee also developed cooperation with relevant international organizations from West and USA. NISPAcee closely cooperates with national associations of public administration in some countries from Central and East Europe and also supports establishment of these associations in other countries, for example: • Polish Association of Education in Public Administration • Lithuanian Association of Training in Public Administration • Association of Romanian schools of Public Administration NISPAcee cooperates with other professional institutions and associations working in Central and East Europe.
