Description: Association Človek v ohrození was established in May 1999 by a group of Slovak journalists as a reaction on events in Kosovo. Association is using support of public for realization effective and efficient projects that are focusing on humanitarian and development aid to the people who are suffering due to the consequences of armed conflicts or natural disasters at home or all over the world.
Activities: Association is trying to undercover real problems of contemporary world by different educational and information activities. It is done mainly by media; public discussion with Slovak and foreign guests and by projecting documentary movies Association informs Slovak public and especially young people about different areas in which population suffers because of armed conflicts and authoritarian regimes.
