Description:
Evanjelicka Diakonica ECAV is providing spiritual and material help for those who are in need and were accepted to the keeping or into other activity of ED ECAV in Slovakia. In 1999 Reporter of Individual Help was established. His main responsibilities are the help to individuals and groups in need in scope of organizational structure.

Activities of ED ECAV:
- Establishment of diaconal and charity centers or supports their establishment and mange their activities
-  Organizes provision of humanitarian aid and supports and develops its providing by individuals or other organizations
- initiate development of diaconal centers in Church body of ECAV and coordinates activities in areas of these centers in ECAV
- providing information about state social system to citizens, consulting connected to the activities of ED ECAV and protects interests of those who were accepted to its system or are working for ECAV
-  Organizes educational lectures about issues of diaconal centers and prepares its colleagues
- Pursues contact with state authorities, municipalities, and with Church and non- Church legal and non- legal entities, also abroad in all areas connected to the ED ECAV.
